Character is defined as "the qualities built into an individual's life that determine his or her response, regardless of circumstances." Character is the most valuable possession you will ever acquire. Consider the effect of skills without character. What good are facts, knowledge and skills without the ability to apply them with wisdom, discernment, and decisiveness? Without a focus on intentional character training, you have leaders without a soul, teams without a spirit and organizations without a value-based culture

At Good Monday Consulting, we believe that a person's ability to govern themselves in an ethical and trustworthy manner is directly associated to their attitudes, beliefs and commitments, which comprise the foundational source of their character. We also believe that most of the expenses and risks associated with the human capital of any organization can be directly tied to a person's character and behavior. As such, if an organization can develop a culture of leaders and employees to a higher standard of character they will perform at a greater level of efficiency and productivity, while minimizing overall human capital cost and risks.

               Achieving Authentic Success

This is the advanced level of character training where the focus is on equipping leaders who will in turn coach the next generation. When senior leaders leave the organization, do they pack their wisdom and character with them - thereby exposing a weak layer of middle management?

In association with the Future Achievement International, each person will be assessed according to a 10 character competencies (13-page report). This report forms the basis by which leaders can first evaluate themselves and then learn the necessary skills required for coaching others as well. In this COACHING BY CHARACTER training (2-days), leaders learn to "mulitiply" their success by empowering others (instead of micro-managing).

If you are concern about creating a team with high performance and spirted morale, you will need to position yourself as a successful manager-coach. It begins with self-transformation leading to effective influence - this is authentic leadership.
